2-22-14

I walked into the kitchen and Avery had climbed up the bar stools, on to the upper counter top, down to the main counter and is now snacking.  I guess she was hungry!

Excited for baseball season, and celebrating in a dress!

2-19-14

After the winter that we've had, somehow there are still leaves on this tree.

2-18-14

Apparently Joel likes wearing Avery's skirt more than she does!

Who needs toys?

2-16-14

A trip to Lake Michigan to walk on the frozen ice.  Really cool!

2-15-14

You see that little hole in the snow?  It's grass!!  The first sign we've seen since December.  Of course, this is the drain field...

2-14-14

Happy Valentine's Day to my family!  They got a heart shaped homemade pizza.

2-12-14

Who knew that oatmeal boxes can double as hats?

2-7-14

The snow is so high that Jake is as tall as the stop sign.  It's been a fun winter!

2-6-14

Wahoo!  Insulation and a fireplace!

2-5-14

Busy season is here, which means working a lot.  Joel wanted to work too.

2-3-14

This little darling loves books! Even more, she loves to pull books off of bookshelves.

2-1-14

My mistake.  I bought 6 of these chairs thinking they were black with gray and yellow flowers.  This WON'T match the new decor.  Lesson learned not to buy online based on a picture.  ASK QUESTIONS!

Cookies are ready to bring to the new neighbor.  Aren't you impressed with my mad presentation skills?  Thanks Pinterest!  I was happy with this result!

1-24-14

Another snow day means its time to make some cookies!  My helper said they were as good as Grandma's!  (Good thing - its her recipe.)

1-23-14

Yep.  Zero still.  It's been a cold winter.

1-20-14

This was clean 5 minutes ago.  All I did was step into the toy room to put stuff away.  WHY DO I BOTHER?

Brothers who love to be shirtless!

1-18-14

Jake's first basketball game!  He is catching a pass here!

1-17-14

A day early, but too cute not to share.  Avery really had fun helping take care of little Clayton!

1-16-14

A new look - super hero/princess (in heels.)

1-15-14

Seriously, how did she crawl up on to the pool table and into a box?!  Her brothers weren't even home to show her how!

1-14-14

And just like that, this little 18 month old has learned to undress herself.  And prefers to stay that way!

1-13-14

Joel is just testing his new head rest that he got for Christmas.

1-12-14

Time for snowmen, forts, and snow angels!

1-11-14

Rugrats

Jeremy brought home a bottle of moscato!  I was super excited - mostly because it was a cute bottle with a cute name.  And I usually love moscato.  But this was terrible!!!  Oh well, I still have the bottle and am trying to think of something fun to do with it.  Maybe make a vase?

1-9-14

An awesome sunrise on my way to work (don't worry, I wasn't moving very fast.) So refreshing after being locked up inside for the past few days.

1-8-14

I couldn't resist showing two pictures for today.  It is so white, peaceful, quiet, and beautiful outside!  Look at that snow on the fir tree!  THIS is what fir trees were made for!  What an amazing display of God's beauty, right in my own backyard!
