Still sick around here.  Joel started this on the 17th...it's relentless.

Round 2 with the pukes.  Avery fell asleep holding the bucket to her face.

Joel keeps hopping up and telling me to look at his big butt!

Can you see out this window?  No, that's because it's a complete blizzard!

2.13.15

Joel and I made some pretty awesome chocolate chip cookies!!!  And then we sent them to the Annen sledding party so mommy didn't eat them all.

2.8.15

Do you have any idea what this this?  I'm making Elderberry syrup.  Just one more natural way to ward off germs.  On top of that, it really is a syrup!  Can't wait for a cheat day on my diet so I can make some pancakes!

2.7.15

I'm so excited! It's girls night out!!!  And yes, we decided to make some natural beauty products for our evening out.  Ten years ago I never would have pictured my "fun" night out to be making these types of things.  Don't worry, we drank wine too, so that makes it not so dorky.  Plus I came home with deoderant, lotion, bath scrub, lip balm, & shower discs.

2.6.15

It's a good day to stay in our pj's, watch TV from mom's bed, and keep a bucket handy. :(

2.5.15

Joel and his Mickey - he a bit possessive.

It's a popcorn for dinner kind of night.

1.27.15

Such a gorgeous sunrise!!!  It's hard to see in this picture, but there was a sunbeam shooting straight up. It sliced through the sky and made everything around it glow.  Amazing!  I love my country living views!

1.26.15

Here's a little Pinterest Valentine's day craft that I made.  I'm pretty happy with the result!

1.25.15

It's Sunday morning and we're rushing around the house, trying to get out the door for church.  I took a look around, exasperated because the house was clean when I went to bed and now it's already this.  What you can't see here is the table full of dirty breakfast dishes to my right.  *Sigh*  The story of my life.

1.24.15

Selfie at the Griffin's game.

1.23.15

I ordered Avery a new dress.  It's a 4T.  I was thinking it would be perfect for next fall...or now!

1.19.15

See this contact solution?  Jeremy asked me to get him some new solution because he tried this for one night and it burned his eyes so much he had to wear his glasses to school...so, take a look again at this bottle.  See all of the red?  See the important instructions at the top?  Yeah, I saw them too and told him to try again. :)

1.16.15

It's a wine and Cribbage kind of weekend.  We had the fire on too!

1.15.15

I asked Jeremy to get me some fresh ginger and this is what he came home with.  Yikes!  This might be a more difficult recipe than I was anticipating.

1.14.15

Joel found his Tigers shirt!  Is it spring training yet?

1.13.15

This is without the wind chill!  Thanks anyway!
