Oma & Opa brought corndogs for the kids for lunch. Joel wasn't quite sure what to do and started dipping the stick in his ketchup!
2-16-13
A Pinterest creation - and I actually used the sewing machine by myself! BUT I have been endlessly ridiculed when I put it on Avery - I guess it doesn't look good on my babe??
2-15-13
I regularly try to explain to Jeremy that tupperware should not go in the microwave. Especially when it's sealed. Warped and ruined...
2-14-13
2 dozen roses for this lucky mom! Jeremy always does Valentine's Day right. Afterall, he prosed on this night 11 years ago!
2-12-13
The kids have been playing in a tent. Avery even got involved and decided to army crawl through the tunnel of the tent!
2-11-13
Jeremy had a snow day and made Mac & Cheese for lunch for the boys. They ate the whole box. How much is it going to cost me to feed 2 boys as they get older?!
2-10-13
This is our treadmill. You can hardly see it under Jeremy's creation. He put all of this together so that he can play games on the computer while walking.

I broke down. See the brush on the right? I've owned it since I was in 10th grade. It barely worked and was really dirty. So after all these years I finally splurged, spent $5, and bought myself a new one. It's shaped like a rectangle, so I'm pretty excited. (I don't know why I find this so cool.) Jake now sits around brushing his head and saying it feels so good. Silly kid!
2-7-13
And this is the reason the boys are no longer in the same room at night - Jake fell asleep DURING his bedtime story and nightowl Joel hasn't even gotten his pj's on yet.
2-6-13
A friend wanted to try this headband on a baby to see if it would fit her little doll that she's bringing home soon from Ethiopia. Love the headband and Avery is excited for her new playmate!
2-4-13
Joel is secretly giving Avery toys that she is too little to play with. I have to watch these two like a hawk!
1-31-13
This is the beginning of my painting. I had no desire to do this because I have zero artistic skills. However, the girls from work were going and I wanted to be a part of it. So here I am, learning to paint. Hard to imagine this will soon be a city scape of downtown GR! Go me!
1-30-13
Jake is at school today. Joel decided to move all the chairs in front of the TV and then alternate which chair to sit in. Jake never allows his to do this - when Jake is away, Joel will play.
1-24-13
Ok, I set Avery down on the blanket and now she's over there! I think we have a crawler on our hands! (Ok, just army crawling, but I still have to be on the lookout now!)
1-20-13
Avery is choosing to play with Star Wars toys instead of her own. I thought with a girl I might get away from this obsession.
1-9-13
A little hard to see, but the boys are "using the force" on each other. I think we eat, sleep, play, memorize, read, EVERYTHING Star Wars in this house!
1-3-13
Apparently Jake does not like lettuce. We said he could pick it off. He didn't want it to even touch his plate!
1-1-13
Jake really wanted to make Star Wars cookies. Daddy bought some cookie dough and baked it. This is how they turned out...he didn't know there is a difference between sugar cookies and sugar cookies that you cut out.
Continuing On
So after much debate about whether or not to continue this blog - here goes. Without it, I haven't been taking as many pictures.
