12-30-14

Trees and trains at Meijer Gardens!

12-29-14

Jeremy is enjoying his coffee in a new mug, thanks to Ben and Larissa!

12-28-14

He's a little unsure about climbing trees.

12-27-14

Only Joel - wearing Avery's shirt

12-25-14

Christmas morning chaos.  Still not looking at the camera!

12-22-14

Avery is loving her new dress from Oma and Opa!

12-21-14

It's impossible to get them all to look at the camera and smile.  This is as good as it gets!

12-20-14

Joel had a fun day with Dad!  It included sitting in Jake's big boy seat and a blue sucker.  Life couldn't get better!

12-19-14

Church Christmas Party - yes, we had a wall sit challenge!

12-18-14

Poor Joel - he got a black eye after falling down the stairs.  I thought the bump on his forehead was bad, but five days later and I realized this was much worse!

12-17-14

We have neighbors building.  And the gas company digging 8 foot deep holes in our front yard.

12-14-14

Another day, another look.  This one includes a dress, a swimsuit top, and our stockings as socks!

12-13-14

A style all her own, from her head to her toes!

12-12-14

I guess when mommy's away...daddy will buy toys.

12-11-14

A fun outdoor bar in Dallas!  Yep, it was a good work training!

12-8-14

Avery and I had a fun morning at Fredrick Meijer Gardens.  She was excited to sit in Santa's sleigh!

12-7-14

All dressed up for church, in her Christmas dress!

12-6-14

I love the look on his face - he was just busted for putting raisins in with the advent candles.

12-5-14

We had a fun evening at the Coopersville Santa Parade.  The boys were both passed out by the time we got home, 5 minutes away.

12-4-14

A hand-me-down coat.  Jeremy's cousins all wore this adorable grey coat.  I LOVE it!

12-2-14

Jake is watching Daddy's basketball team practice

11-22-14

All of this snow means we are getting in the Christmas spirit a little early!

11-18-14

SNOW DAY!

11-17-14

Hyper focused - trying to learn how to arm knit so I can make some scarves for Christmas.

11-16-14

A fun weekend in TC with friends!  We came home with ciders, Rieslings, cherry juice, and cherry salsa!

11-14-14

Our first attempt at a french braid!  Her hair is still too thin to hold, but maybe someday.

11-13-14

Joel couldn't be happier with our first snowfall!  He was uncontainable at the bus stop.

11-10-14

Brothers in their pj's and basketball shoes

11-9-14

What does Daddy expect when he asks a 2 year old to bring him a spoon?  I'm sure the peach pie still slid down pretty easily!

11-8-14

Potty training fail - Avery zero times on the toilet/Avery awarding herself with lots of stickers

11-7-14

A-MA-ZING cookies!  New recipe - Brown Butter Salted Caramel Mocha cookies

11-6-14

No words for this!

11-5-14

A perfect afternoon:  sunlight pouring in, my Bible study in hand, and a mocha to accompany it

11-2-14

My little super heroes!

10-31-14

More fun with Joel's class at his Halloween party!

10-29-14

We had a fun day with Joel's class at Post Family Farms!

10-28-14

Jake got new basketball shoes and he's doing is Michael Jordan jump.

10-27-14

Boxes from Costco = hours of entertainment!

10-26-14

Making cookies for our new neighbors.  They aren't pretty enough to give away, but they were delicious!!

10-25-14

And suddenly feeling better after his IV!  He's eating!  Only donuts, but anything is ok at this point.

10-24-14

Still miserable.  At the hospital getting an IV.

10-23-14

Switched to local eggs, rather than store bought.  Notice the color difference?  I really wish I had done this comparison in a white bowl, but I think it's still amazing to see how much more vibrant the local egg color is!

10-22-14

Still organizing and realized I have lots of garlic and paprika.

10-20-14

Still miserable from those tonsils...not eating or drinking.

10-19-14

Bedtime stories

10-18-14

No more cousins jumping on the bed!

10-17-14

It's tonsil day!

10-16-14

Had to stop and enjoy the beauty!

10-13-14

Picking pumpkins is an important decision!

10-12-14

We spent the afternoon at the orchard and enjoyed our pumpkin donuts!
