1-24-13

Ok, I set Avery down on the blanket and now she's over there!  I think we have a crawler on our hands!  (Ok, just army crawling, but I still have to be on the lookout now!)

1-23-13

Crazy morning hair!

1-20-13

Avery is choosing to play with Star Wars toys instead of her own.  I thought with a girl I might get away from this obsession.

1-19-13

These 2 second cousins are having a BLAST!  We love spending the weekend with family!

1-16-13

Avery is watching the Calvin/Hope game with Daddy.

1-14-13

Joel is still lounging in Avery's toys.  I think he's stuck here, thus the look of, "Now what?"

1-13-13

6 months old today!

1-12-13

Avery fell asleep like this.  We must have worn her out today!

1-11-13

Avery's first basketball game.  She's sporting her green shirt!

1-9-13

A little hard to see, but the boys are "using the force" on each other.  I think we eat, sleep, play, memorize, read, EVERYTHING Star Wars in this house!

1-8-13

SO excited about Avery's Christmas present!  Aunt Michelle made this rug to go in her room.  LOVE IT!

1-7-13

And the final product!  As you can tell, this was a big ordeal in our house.

1-6-13

Cookie re-do.  Now we have the right kind of dough for cut-out cookies.  Star Wars here we come!

1-5-13

Joel thinks he's can still sit in the baby chair.

1-4-13

Still walking around without his pants buttoned.  But now he is a pirate!

1-3-13

Apparently Jake does not like lettuce.  We said he could pick it off.  He didn't want it to even touch his plate!

1-2-13

\
Jake loves to hold Avery!

1-1-13

Jake really wanted to make Star Wars cookies.  Daddy bought some cookie dough and baked it.  This is how they turned out...he didn't know there is a difference between sugar cookies and sugar cookies that you cut out.

Continuing On

So after much debate about whether or not to continue this blog - here goes.  Without it, I haven't been taking as many pictures.

A Full Year!

I can hardly believe that it has been a full year since I decided to blog a picture each day.  Sure, I've missed a few days and Jeremy has taken as many pictures as I have, but this tells a lot about the daily happenings in our life.  We are busy, crazy, and having fun!  So, should I continue this blog?  Is anyone reading it, especially any relatives who don't live close?

12-31-12

New Year's Eve entertainment - Joel is holding one sleeve of my shirt and Jake is pulling him in circles around the house.  Yes, we stayed home, and yes, we were in bed before 10:00.

12-30-12

I got Avery this cute headband for Christmas.  I didn't even realize that she had a sweater to match it perfectly.  I also didn't realize that a 5 month old could even wear a headband and look so old because of it!

12-29-12

Undecorating the Christmas tree.  I really wanted a cute picture of Avery with the lights, but she was not cooperative when we decorated or undecorated.  She did love looking at them though!

12-28-12

Jeremy gave these to me earlier in the week for takingn care of all the Christmas details.  They are still beautiful!

12-27-12

Our dessert plate says it all!  Ruth's Chris was amazing!!

12-26-12

We had a surprise delivery from Oma & Opa to help us celebrate tomorrow...

12-25-12

Some pretty happy kiddos on Christmas morning!

12-24-12

Just got home from our candle-light Christmas Eve service and am taking some time to reflect on the real Christmas season.

12-23-12

We celebrated Christmas with Oma & Opa today.  They gave Jake a puzzle from Uncle Case (in Canada.)  The purpose of the puzzle was to make a square.  As I sat down to put it together I told Jake that it was a hard puzzle and he told me that he already knew how to do it.  This is what he came up with.

12-22-12

Jake was doing a craft when he said to me, "Mom, can you read these popcorn words?"  I am AMAZED!  I had no idea that he was reading words, much less spelling them out.
