Daddy took Joel to get his haircut today.  My only request was not to cut the curls, but clearly they are all gone. :(  I don't have a baby anymore!  He's a little boy!

I'm not so excited to have had this picture taken so early in the morning, but it was kind of a special minute when both boys wanted to be on my lap and cuddle.  So we decided that each boy got one leg and the baby got the belly.

Jake got to celebrate his half birthday today at school.  Too bad he didn't want his picture taken and was screaming, "NOOOOOO!!!!!" at the top of his lungs when I tried to take a picture of him in his birthday crown.

I really like having the toys organized:  one bin for trucks, one for blocks, one for Joel's toys, one shelf for books.  I think if I actually want this all picked up in less than 2 hours, I have to just start shoving it in.

This was about 10 seconds before Jake crashed the sled, Joel got a white-wash, and we were done playing outside.  It was fun while it lasted!

I had too many photo options to choose from today, but I had to share the gorgeous view in my backyard.  I truly believe THIS is what it means to be "Walking in a Winter Wonderland."  What beauty and peace!
